Georgian, George III, silver tea service of oval, half fluted form on four ball feet. The gadrooned rims are enhanced with shell and leaf detail. All handles are leaf capped. The teapot finial is part fluted and gadrooned. Each piece is monogrammed to one side, with a coronet crest to the other side. The crest is of a Unicorn's head emerging from a coronet, above the letters W E T in gothic script. The sugar and cream jug have gilded interiors.

Condition is excellent with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. The teapot is watertight and pours well. There is a little play in the flush hinge of the teapot and a small split to the cover by the hinge (best seen in photos 1 and 5).

Each piece is hallmarked for London 1819 by  William Hall. The teapot is further part hallmarked to the inside of the cover and handle.

Approximate weight of all three pieces is 1.258 kilos or 40.4 troy ounces.

Approximate dimensions:

Sugar bowl: 22 cm length, 11 cm height and 12 cm depth.
