Georgian, George III, White Metal & Tortoiseshell Circular Snuff Box, circa 1780 - 1810. The box pulls apart in the centre and has a reeded band where the two halves meet. The borders with wheatsheaf detail. The cover of the top half with rope twist wire surrounding a vacant cartouche. The white metal is almost certainly non hallmarked silver.
In excellent order with light surface wear commensurate with age. No losses to the tortoiseshell.
Approximate weight is 56 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 8 cm diameter and 2.8 cm height.
