A George III Old Sheffield Plate Inkstand, circa 1810. Features two cut glass ink bottles, taperstick holder, wax compartment and two pen rests. Of rectangular form with a gadrooned border and raised on four orb feet. The wax compartment crested with a lion.
Features the twin sun mark of Matthew Boulton to the underside.
In excellent original condition with no glass damage.
Approximate weight is 665 grams.
