An Asprey & Son Victorian Coromandel Dressing Case, circa 1870. The coromandel case is edged in brass and features a central brass plaque with monogram. This monogram is identical to the monograms on each item in the case, meaning that all pieces are original.

The cover of the case contains a mirror, which is released by pressing inwards. The cut glass bottles and jars are all mounted with monogrammed silver plated covers. There is a toothbrush holder, travelling inkwell, soap dish, two cream jars and two scent bottles. The tray containing these items can be lifted out revealing a lower, velvet lined, non fitted compartment.

In excellent condition with no damage to the case, silver plate, or glass. There is no key to the Bramah lock. There is no loss of silver plate. Some ink staining to the travelling inkwell. There is a slight gap between the base and cover when closed, due to the lock not being engaged.

Approximate total cased weight is 2.34 kilos.

Approximate case dimensions are 22 cm length, 15.5 cm width and 9.5 cm height.
