A George III Pair of Old Sheffield Plate Crested Entree Dishes and Covers on Lion Paw Feet Supporting Stands, circa 1810. The stands have wooden handles and the dish covers have removable handles. Both covers crested within applied white metal ovals. One cover with a rubbed in silver circle and gadrooned detail to both dishes and covers. All pieces numbered either 2 or 3.
All items are in very good condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age and use. The items are free of dents, creases and repair. The dish interiors and base undersides with light scratches. One entree ever so slightly larger and one dish with a slightly different gadrooned detail. One dish sits at a slight angle on its stand.
