
Georgian Old Sheffield Plate Salver, Crested for Reid. Of oval form with a later chased field surrounding the central crest. The salver is raised on three scrolled acanthus feet with a scroll and shell border.
Marked to the underside with the orb and cross mark for Blagden, Hodgson & Co., Sheffield, Circa 1820.
Approximate dimensions are 31.5 cm diameter and 4 cm height.
Approximate weight is 902 grams.
In very good condition with no dents or creases.
