
General Sir Edward Kerrison, 1st Baronet KCB GCH, Gold and Bloodstone Armorial Fob Seal, circa 1821 - 1840. He Commanded the 7th Hussars at the Battle of Waterloo and Fought in the Peninsular War.
General Sir Edward Kerrison, 1st Baronet KCB GCH (1776 - 1853). In 1799, as a young Captain, he saw action in the Dutch Helder campaign. During the Peninsular War he saw action, as a Lieutenant-Colonel, at Corunna, Oleron, Sauvetere, Orthes and Toulouse with the 7th Hussars. He was highly commended by the Duke of Wellington and promoted to Brevet Colonel.
He commanded his regiment at the Battle of Waterloo and was injured when his horse was shot under him. A heraldry report accompanies this item.
In good condition with the seam visible. The gold is unmarked.
