Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Inkstand, circa 1800 - 1810. The rectangular stand is raised on four ornate bracket feet and features a gadrooned, shell and acanthus border. There are two pierced ink bottle holders, two blue glass bottles and a central compartment for sealing wax and tapersticks.
In excellent order with light surface wear commensurate with age. Some areas of copper bleed as per the photographs.
