Georgian, George IV, Old Sheffield Plate inkstand, circa 1820. Features three associated cut glass ink bottles and two pen rests.. The inkstand is raised on four ornate scroll feet and has a tinned underside along with the securing pins for the bottle holders. The border is highly ornate with shell, leaf and scroll decoration. The three associated cut glass ink bottles all have star cut bases, with silver plated collars and screw off silver plated caps.
In excellent order with no damage to the glass or Old Sheffield Plate inkstand. There is a little warm copper bleed.
