Georgian, George IV, silver pounce pot. The pierced cover can be pulled off and the pot would have been filled with pounce, a fine powder, used to dry ink. Of pedestal form and raised on a circular foot.
In very good order with moderate surface wear, commensurate with age. Rubbed, but legible, hallmarks. Free of dents, some minor pitting.

Approximate weight is 74 grams or 2.3 troy ounces.
