Victorian, Ornate Silver Plated Trefoil Inkwell, circa 1880. The inkwell is of spherical form suspended on three ornate column supports with claw feet, Atop each column is a swan with wings spread. A horse's head finial sits on top of the sphere. The top half of the sphere lifts off to reveal a ceramic liner for ink. The inkwell is raised on a stepped trefoil base.
In excellent order with light surface wear commensurate with age.
