A George I silver salver with piecrust edge and wrapped, knurled feet. The central armorial is of the arms of Turner impaling Leather. Hallmarked to the base for 1726 by John Tuite. Features two lion passants but not the town mark for London. Also has the original scratch weight on the base.

Approximate weight is 1.181 kilos or nearly 38 troy ounces.
Condition is superb for just short of 300 years with just very minor surface wear and light scratches, with a couple of pitting marks.
