Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Large Armorial Oval Salver, circa 1780 - 1790. Raised on four bracket feet with an unidentified central armorial and a reeded border. The salver is large enough to use as a tea or drinks tray.
In good condition with moderate to high wear. The salver has been replated. Some creases to the raised border and reeded detail. To the underside there is some wear to the rolled over border edge. This is a sturdy salver that is ready to use.
Approximate weight is 1.9 kilos.
