Georgian, George III, Silver Salver. Of circular form and raised on three ornate bracket feet. The main surface of the salver features an engraved band of leaves and flowers surrounding a vacant centre. The raised border with applied foliate and scroll detail of the highest quality. The underside of the salver features an 1820 presentation inscription.
Hallmarked for Sheffield 1818 by S. C. Younge & Co.
Approximate weight is 1.377 kilos or 44.2 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 36 cm diameter and 4.8 cm height.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. The salver has not been erased.
