Georgian, George IV, silver crested oval meat tray with gadrooned and foliate shell border. Engraved to both sides of the rim with the coat of arms and motto "NOMEN EXTENDERE FACTIS" for Neeld. This is for Jospeh Neeld (1789 - 1856) of Grittleton House, Wiltshire. He was the heir to the Philip Rundell fortune which he inherited in 1828. One side also features the Karadordevic Crown of Serbia. A heraldry report accompanies this item.
In excellent order with only minor surface wear and light scratches to the main surface.
Hallmarked to the rear for London 1828 by John Bridge of Rundell, Bridge & Rundell.
