Georgian, George IV period, Sheffield Plated twin handled serving, or butlers, tray. Circa 1830. Features an elaborate raised border of foliate and scroll decoration. This border merges into wonderful cast handles with leaf, foliate and scroll decoration. The centre of the tray features a wide border of rococo ornament. Raised on four half bun feet.
In excellent order with a light amount of warm copper bleed. Not warped and free of dents and splits. Surface wear commensurate with age.
