Georgian, George II, silver sparrow beak cream jug with later foliate engraving and an acanthus capped scroll handle. There is a scroll enclosed vacant cartouche to the front and the jug is raised on an engraved circular foot.
Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1741 by Thomas Rush.
The jug is in very good condition with no dents, creases or splits. There have been professional silver solder repairs to the top of the jug, near the rim.
Approximate weight is 73 grams or 2.3 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 8.5 cm height, 7 cm length and 5.3 cm depth.
