Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Helmet Shape Cream Jug, circa 1780 - 1800. Raised on a square pedestal foot, with a rope twist border and free of inscriptions, or engravings.
In excellent condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Loose filling inside the weighted base can be heard when shaken. The item does not appear to have been replated.
