Georgian, George III, silver cream jug with reeded decoration to the handle and top rim. Features bands of prick work decoration. There is a monogram to the front, within a shield cartouche.
In very good condition with some clouding where the original silver shows through a later coat of pure silver plating. The base is a replacement and silver hallmarked for London 1776 was used for this by the silversmith.
Hallmarked to the body for London 1804 by John Merry.
Approximate weight is 91 grams or 2.9 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 10 cm height, 12 cm length and 6.5 cm depth.
