George V silver tea service. The teapot features an ebonised handle and knop. The tea service is of plain form with canted corners and ornate rims. The sugar bowl and creamer have reeded handles. There are no inscriptions or engravings.
Condition is excellent with light surface wear commensurate with age. Small amount of pitting to the inside of the sugar bowl.
Each piece is hallmarked for Birmingham 1928 by Daniel & Arter.
Approximate weight for all three pieces is 1.276 kilos or 41 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are:
Teapot: 29 cm length, 11 cm depth and 14 cm height.
Sugar bowl: 20 cm length, 9.5 cm width and 10 cm height.
Creamer: 15.5 cm length, 6.5 cm width and 9 cm height.
