A very attractive Georgian, George III, matched silver tea service. Of oblong and fluted form and each standing on four ball feet. Each piece with the same crest and decoration. The teapot handle has ivory spacers.
Teapot is hallmarked for Alice and George Burrows II, London 1810. Approximate weight 725 grams.
Sugar bowl is hallmarked for Joseph Angel I, London 1812. Approximate weight is 272 grams.
Creamer is hallmarked for London 1812, with no makers mark visible. Approximate weight is 169 grams.
Total approximate weight is 1.166 kilos or nearly 37 1/2 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are:
Teapot 26 cm length by 11 cm width by 15 cm height
Sugar bowl 18 cm length by 9 cm width by 11 cm height
Creamer 15 cm length by 7 cm width by 10 cm height.
Condition: Teapot is very good with no repairs or dents. Minor surface wear and tiny bit of play in handle.
Sugar bowl is in excellent order with no repairs or dents and minimal wear.
Creamer is very good with no dents. Possible repair to one corner inside, very professional and not really noticeable.
