Georgian, George III, Matched Silver Tea Set. Of part fluted form with each piece raised on four pad feet. Gadrooned borders to each piece. The teapot with ebonised wooden handle and knop.
The teapot is hallmarked for London 1816 and the sugar/creamer are hallmarked for London 1820. The maker's marks on all three pieces are obscured and the hallmarks are mostly rubbed.
In excellent order with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Some heat hazing marks to the spout. Free of dents, creases and splits.
Approximate weight for all three pieces is 1.080 kilos or 34.7 troy ounces.
