A Georgian, George III, matching silver tea service. All pieces hallmarked for London 1819 by Joseph Angell I. The whole tea service is of compressed form, half fluted with scrolling shell adorned rims. The teapot handle is reeded and the domed lid fluted, leading to a foliate knop.  All of the handles are acanthus capped, as is the teapot spout. Each piece stands on four ornate bracket feet. The teapot has ivory spacers.

Minor surface wear, no repairs or dents. Couple of very minor depressions to the sugar bowl where the fluting meets the main body. These do not show in the photos and do not detract. No visible faults with the teapot or creamer, save for a tiny bit of play in the hinge. Makers mark slightly rubbed on all pieces, but still readable as Joseph Angell I.
Approximate dimensions and weights are:
Teapot 27 cm length, 17 cm width and 14 cm height.  792 grams
Sugar bowl 21 cm length, 16 cm width and 10 cm height.  383 grams
Creamer 15 cm length, 11 cm width and 10 cm height. 240 grams
Total approximate weight is 1415 grams or 45 1/2 troy ounces.
