Only suitable for sale within the UK, due to the ivory content in the teapot handle and finial heat spacers. This item has been registered for exemption under the new Ivory Act and is legal to sell. We are happy for the registration number (C7PYCVRA) to be checked with the Animal & Plant Health Agency.

Georgian, George III, silver tea service of plain rectangular bellied form. The rims are gadrooned and each piece stands on four ball feet. There are no monograms, inscriptions, or later chasing. The teapot knop features flower detail and is also gadrooned.

In excellent, original, condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. There is a split to the ivory heat insulator for the knop, but this does not affect its use. I can supply another insulator if required.

Each piece is hallmarked for London 1816 by Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I.

Approximate weight for all three pieces is 1.161 kilos or 37.3 troy ounces.

Approximate dimensions are:

Teapot: 30 cm length, 16 cm height and 13 cm depth.

Sugar: 22 cm length, 10.5 cm height and 11.5 cm depth.

Cream: 15.5 cm length, 10 cm height and 9 cm depth.
