Georgian, George III, silver teapot of lobed oblong form standing on four bun feet. The domed cover and knop feature lobed detail. The rim of the teapot is gadrooned. There are no monograms or inscriptions.

Condition is very good with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Some clouding of the silver on the spout (picture 12) and a repair to the inside of the handle (pictures 1 & 2).

Hallmarked to the underside for London 1811 Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I. Further part hallmarked to the inside of the lid and the handle.

Approximate weight is 585 grams or 18.8 troy ounces.

Approximate dimensions are 28.5 cm length, 14 cm height and 12.5 cm depth.
