Georgian, George III, silver trophy cup and cover. Of part fluted, campana form with ornate twin scroll handles and circular pedestal foot decorated with an acanthus band. A moulded girdle sits above the fluted decoration. The domed cover features an ornate ball finial. The cup and cover are covered with inscriptions relating to an annual military award and the dates range from 1865 to 1935. Inscribed to one side is "LADIES CHALLENGE CUP". The cup and cover interior are both finely gilded.
In excellent order with light surface wear.
