George V silver twin handled trophy cup. The cup is of plain form, save for a raised and engraved later addition silver panel to the front. Features two finely cast and ornate handles, raised on a spreading circular foot.
In excellent condition with light surface wear.
The cup is hallmarked for Birmingham 1930 by Alexander Clark & Co. The company name is also stamped to the underside of the base. The later raised panel was assayed in 2018 by the London Assay Office.
Approximate total weight for the cup is 986 grams or 31.7 troy ounces.
