Georgian, George III, silver pedestal cup and cover. Raised on a circular stepped foot with part fluted detail and twin reeded loop handles. The domed and fluted cover raising into urnular form with an acorn finial. Features a crest to one side and an inscription to the other, relating to H. St. John Maule in 1854 (possibly Henry St. John Maule, a solicitor 1805 - 1879).
Hallmarked to the cup base and inside cover rim for London 1806 by John Emes.
In excellent order and free of dents, creases and splits. Light surface wear commensurate with age.
Approximate weight is 1.865 kilos or 59.96 troy ounces.
