Georgian, George III, silver presentation cup with twin reeded loop handles and a reeded girdle. The cup features a dedication to The Amicable Society, instituted on 4th June 1780. There is also a monogram of WW within this dedication, under the word "PROSPERITY". The other side of the cup features a presentation to Mr William Warren and is dated the 5th August 1802.
In excellent original condition with light surface wear commensurate with age.
The cup is hallmarked for London 1802, but the makers mark is obscured.
Approximate weight is 572 grams or 18.39 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 27 cm height, 20 cm handle to handle length and 13 cm depth.
