19th Century Indian Colonial Silver Mug. Of baluster form, chased with scrolls and foliage. The centre engraved with the date of 28th May 1863 mostly in Roman numerals. Raised on a circular foot.

Marked to the base rim for Hamilton & Co. of Calcutta, circa 1860.

In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. The mug does not leak and holds around 300 ml of liquid.

Approximate weight is 239 grams or 7.6 troy ounces.

Approximate dimensions are 11 cm height and 10 cm handle to rim length.
