A George II silver one pint tankard mug. The tankard has been later embossed with foliate decoration and sits on a circular foot with acanthus capped scroll handle.
Hallmarked to the base for London 1737. The maker is not known as only the initial I is visible.
Free of leaks, dents, splits and creases. Light surface wear commensurate with age.
Approximate dimensions are 12 cm height and 13 cm width (to furthest point of handle).
Approximate weight is 362 grams or 11.6 troy ounces.
