Georgian, George III, silver tankard of plain baluster form with double C scroll acanthus capped handle. Sits on a raised circular foot and holds about 520 ml full to the brim.
In very good order with light surface wear commensurate with age. Possible small erasure to the centre. The tankard does not leak and stands straight.
Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1796 by Samuel Godbehere & Edward Wigan.
Approximate weight is 368 grams or 11.8 troy ounces.
