
Victorian Silver Plated Tankard Jug with Mask Head Spout in the Georgian manner. Features a double scroll handle with heart terminal. The body and domed cover profusely decorated with foliate embossing. Features a vacant cartouch to the centre of the body.
In excellent order with very light surface wear, commensurate with age. Free of dents, creases, splits or repairs. The tankard jug is watertight.
Marked to the underside as EPNS (electro plated nickel silver) by Martin Hall & Co. of Sheffield. Dates to around 1870 - 1890.
Approximate weight is 726 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 19.5 cm height, 19 cm handle to spout length and 11 cm depth.
