Bronze French Medallion in Honour of the 1810 Marriage of Napoleon & Louise. This is a late 19th century restrike by the Paris Mint and has a very small restrike mark on the edge of the medallion.
The obverse with laureate relief bust of Napoleon and a crowned Marie-Louise, signed Andrieu F (Fecit).
The reverse with "NAPOLEON EMP. ET ROI & M. LOUISE D'AUTRICHE". Napoleon and Marie-Louise are stood together by an altar with the date of 1810 in Roman numerals. It is signed Brenet F (fecit) and Denon D (director).
In excellent condition with surface wear as shown in the photographs.
