Early 19th Century Admiral Lord Nelson Circular Brass Snuff Box with Battle Honours. The sides of the snuff box richly detailed with a recumbent lion, cannon, arms & naval imagery. The base and cover rims with Greek key and beaded detail.
The underside of the base with oak garlands surrounding the legend: CONQUEROR AT ABOUKIR 1 AUGT 1798, COPENHAGEN 2 APRIL 1801, TRAFALGAR 21 OCTR 1805 WHERE HE GLORIOUSLY FELL.
The maker's mark 'M & P FECIT' for the medallist Nathaniel Marchant and engraver Lewis Pingo.
In excellent condition with higher wear to the interior.
