1st Peshawar Division, British Indian Army, Wooden Prize Shield Mounted with Four Engraved White Metal Plaques, circa 1907. The plaque is for an inter regimental and departmental tournament orgainsed by the Black Watch. The 2nd Battalion Royal Highlanders (Black Watch) were based at Peshawar in 1907. The 1st Peshawar Division were responsible for defending the North West Frontier.

In good condition with age related wear. The 'Shooting' white metal plaque with a dint in the word 'Peshawar'. The white metal plaques are likely to be Indian silver.
