A George III set of Six Silver Tablespoons. Of Old English pattern and each crested with a lion.
In excellent condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age and use. Some spoons of slightly differing lengths. One spoon with a tiny crack to the stem reverse; this is stable and does not show on the front of the stem.
Each spoon is hallmarked for London 1783 by John Lambe.
Approximate weight of all six spoons is 399 grams or 12.8 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one spoon are 22.5 cm length and 4.4 cm bowl width.
