A George III two part silver wine funnel with monogram.
In very good condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. The bowl slightly misshappen.
The upper, strainer, part is hallmarked for London 1789, or 1809, by Alexander Field. The bottom section is part hallmarked with the lion passant and king's head duty mark. The date marks for 1789 and 1809 are identical and Alexander Field was active throughout this period.
Approximate dimensions are 12.5 cm length and 8 cm bowl diameter.
Approximate weight is 76 grams or 2.4 troy ounces.
