Art Nouveau silver mounted black leather card case. The interior is steel framed and has compartments for cards in front of a soft green leather backing.
In very good condition with wear to the exterior leather where it meets the frame. The clasp is in working order and the silver mounts are all sound.
Each silver mount is hallmarked as an import for London 1901, probably by Joseph Schiebner. He was a silver mount maker for wallets in this period, but the heart shaped cartouche around his mark was not registered.
Approximate dimensions are 13 cm length, 10 cm width and 1.2 cm thickness.
