Asprey silver sugar bowl, cover and sifter ladle to commemorate the Investiture of Charles, Prince of Wales in 1969. The bowl is detailed with the three ostrich feathers of the Prince of Wales' heraldic badge, surrounding a flattened coronet beneath a Welsh dragon. The pierced ladle is detailed with a single feather. Housed in an Asprey fitted case.
Hallmarked to the underside of the bowl and the ladle for London 1968 by Asprey. The cover is hallmarked with the lion passant and date letter for 1968. The cover feathers are hallmarked with the lion passant and the leopard head mark for London.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. Some of the outer covering slightly coming away at the edges of the fitted case.
Approximate silver weight is 543 grams or 17.4 troy ounces.
Approximate cased weight is 1.2 kilos.
