Georgian, George II, Set of Twelve Scottish Silver Hanoverian Pattern Tablespoons. Each spoon with a worn monogram to the rear of each terminal.
Bottom struck hallmarks for Edinburgh 1755 by Robert Gordon. The spoons also carry the Assay Master's mark of Hugh Gordon.
In excellent condition with no splits or creases. Moderate surface wear commensurate with age. The bottom struck hallmarks are quite rubbed in places, but all have been photographed.
Approximate total weight of all twelve spoons is 865 grams or 27.8 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one spoon are 22 cm length and 4 cm bowl width.
