
Georgian, George III, large silver tray. Features a central armorial, reeded raised border and twin reeded handles with applied leaf detail.
The armorial commemorates the marriage of William Thomas Salvin (1768 - 1842) and Anna Maria Weston (1783 - 1864) in 1800. A heraldry report accompanies this item.
In very good condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. There are some light scratches and very minor pressure marks with moderate wear to the reeded detail. Higher wear to the underside of the tray. Please see photographs for a better illustration.
Clearly hallmarked to the underside for London 1794 by Henry Chawner.
