Georgian, George III, silver hot water jug. Of baluster form with fluting to the lower body. Gadrooned borders and flame finial to the hinged cover, with a rattan covered handle.

Hallmarked to the base for London 1768 by David Whyte. The cover is further part hallmarked with the mark of David Whyte and the lion passant.

Approximate weight is 485 grams, or 15.5 troy ounces.
 
Approximate dimensions are 23 cm height, 15 cm handle to spout length and 10.5 cm depth.
 
Condition is excellent with light surface wear commensurate with age. There are a couple of small gaps to the rattan covering towards the top of the handle.
