Georgian, George III, silver dinner forks with ivory handles. Made from a very heavy gauge of silver. Each fork is identically monogrammed on the silver stem.
In very good order. There is no damage to the silver and the tines are in good shape. There are some minor splits on the ivory handles, but this is quite normal and will not affect use. I have included a photograph that illustrates these splits. Moderate surface wear and signs of use.
Each fork is hallmarked for London 1805 by John Mewburn.
Approximate total weight for all 12 forks is 1.151 kilos.
Approximate dimensions of one fork are 22 cm length by 2.2 cm tine width.
