Duke of Wellington Portrait Profile Burr Wood & Horn Snuff Box, circa 1850. The cover inset with a metal, probably pewter, portrait profile medallion.
In fair condition with a stable split to the burr wood on the cover. The base and horn interior without loss, but some hairline cracking to the horn inside the cover. Moderate wear to the medallion detail.
Approximate weight is 25 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 5 cm diameter and 1.8 cm height.
