Early 20th Century British Sailors Society Plaque Made With Copper From Nelson's Flagships. Mounted within an oak shield. Possibly issued circa 1905 to commemorate 100 years since the Nelson's death and the battle of Trafalgar.
Nelson served as a captain and flag officer from the start of the French Wars in 1793 to his death in 1805. His flagships were the Agamemnon, Vanguard, Elephant, Captain, Foudroyant & Victory.
