Early Victorian matching pair of silver salvers with a raised shell and scroll border, sitting upon three hoof feet. The centre of each features an armorial for the Vardon family of Goldstone, Shropshire.

Condition is excellent with only minor surface wear.

Each is hallmarked to the underside for London 1840 by William Bateman & Daniel Ball.
