Early Victorian Pair of Matthew Boulton Old Sheffield Plate Meat Domes, circa 1845. Of oval form with an indented fluted design. Ornate loop handles with intricate bases. The insides of the domes are tinned. The crests are contained within rubbed in silver sqaures.
Marked to the inside of each dome with the twin sun mark of Matthew Boulton. Features a design registration number dating to 1845. The crest is unidentified.
Both in excellent condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age.
