A Solid silver cigarette case made by Fortnum & Mason, of Piccadilly London (established 1707).  The cigarette case is housed in an original Fortnum & Mason red tooled leather case with white silk and red velvet interior. Of angled rectangular form with engine turned detail.

The cigarette case has a rare hallmark for London 1936 by Fortnum & Mason and also bears the Fortnum & Mason retail stamp.  It features a monogram of DJGW to the front. 

Approximate silver weight is 170 grams. 
Total cased weight is 271 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 11cm by 9cm by 1cm.  

The actual silver case is in excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. The interior elastic is a replacement. Higher wear to the tooled leather case, as shown in the photographs.
