An Edwardian cased set of novelty silver wishbone sugar nips. They are housed in their original "Asprey late Leuchars" burgundy Morocco leather case with satin and velvet interior.
The silver is in excellent condition with light surface wear. The case has higher wear, as shown in the photos and the clasp is not very secure in holding the case shut, as it sometimes pops open.
The sugar nips have matching hallmarks for London 1902 by Charles & George Asprey. Further part hallmarked on the arm of each.
Approximate total silver weight for the pair is 34 grams.
Approximate total cased weight is 118 grams.
Approximate dimensions of one pair of nips are 9 cm length and 3.5 cm width.
Approximate case dimensions are 11 cm length, 10 cm width and 2.5 cm height.
